What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They can keep a site working correctly, remember preferences, or measure how content is used. Similar technologies (such as localStorage) are covered by this policy as well.
How OmeDreams uses cookies
| Strictly necessary | Used by WordPress for core functionality — for example, remembering a comment form entry or a consent choice. These don't track you across sites and can't be switched off without breaking functionality. |
| Analytics | If analytics is enabled, aggregated measurement cookies help us see which articles are read and on which devices. We configure analytics to avoid building individual visitor profiles, and where required by law, these cookies are set only after consent. |
| Advertising | If third-party advertising is active on a page, the ad provider may set its own cookies under its own policy. Any such use is disclosed on the page where it appears, and consent is requested where the law requires it. |
OmeDreams does not use cookies for cross-site tracking of readers and does not sell cookie-derived data.
Managing cookies
- Consent banner. Where a consent banner is shown, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies and change your choice later.
- Browser settings. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies — check the privacy section of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge settings. The site remains fully readable with cookies blocked.
- Do Not Track / GPC. Where technically feasible, we treat Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of non-essential cookies.
Third-party cookies
If a page embeds third-party content (for example, an external video), the embedding provider may set cookies governed by its own policy. We keep such embeds to a minimum and prefer privacy-enhanced embed modes where available.
